Valentine’s Day is the day of Love, much like National Pizza Day Even though there is no “pizza’ in “Valentine’s Day,” we feel like they go hand in hand.
The Perfect Valentine’s Day Gift
When brainstorming the perfect gift for that special someone, we have just the thing. Skip the reservations at a fancy restaurant. Instead, stay in and create something cheesy and delicious from the heart. (wink-wink)
Each year, we love to create a heart pizza for Valentine’s Day to showcase our love for pizza, and we are going to teach you how to make it!
How to Create a Heart-Shaped Pizza
Step 1:
What you need: pizza dough, pizza cutter, sauce, cheese, pepperoni, scissors
Roll your pizza dough out on a flat surface.
Step 2:
Carefully cut a heart into the dough with your pizza cutter.
Tip: create an outline on the surface of the dough before you cut it to make sure it is even on both sides.
Step 3:
Add the sauce on top of your heart shaped dough then sprinkle some cheese! If you really want to get funky, you can try the famous Rascal House crimped crust!
Step 4:
It’s time to add some toppings! Get some pepperoni and use your scissors to cut each pepperoni into little hearts. Place them on top of your pizza.
