It’s Valentine’s Day and you know what that means. Someone who really cares about you is dreaming about pizza right now. We mean, dreaming about you eating pizza right now. No, that doesn’t sound right either. Let’s just say there’s a pretty good chance that they’re thinking of you and craving pizza at the same time.
Certainly, there’s a good reason why Dean Martin sang That’s Amore and threw in “when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie.” Sure, he may have been referring to the world’s biggest satellite, in all its wonder, illuminating the shock and awe of someone he loves and all that lovey-dovey stuff.
Or maybe, just maybe, that moon he was singing about resembled the perfect pie, with just the right blend of signature sauces, oooey-gooey cheese and double-proofed dough that only Rascal House can make. The kind of pizza that stirs up all sorts of emotions the minute your heart-shaped pupils gaze adoringly upon it. Your heart beats out of your chest. Your knees wobble because you know deep down inside that this pizza is the only pizza that makes your heart go pitter-patter. You want to get down on one knee and confess your undying love for us and tell us that there will never ever be another pizza quite like us, and…
Okay, things are getting a little weird here. I guess what we’re trying to say is, we think there’s a strong coincidence between that line in Dean Martin’s song and what we do here at Rascal House. After all, he was from Steubenville, Ohio, a city just 131 miles from Rascal House (aka Cleveland’s best loved pizza). Now that’s amore!
